SCR to Run 130 Special Trains for the Convenience of Pilgrims attending Godavari Pushkaram at Basar

For the convenience of pilgrims attending Godavari Pushkaram at Basar during the month July,2015, South Central Railway will run the following special  as per the schedule detailed below. These special trains will stop at all important stations enroute.

1. Nizamabad-Basar-Nizamabad Special Trains (28 services):

Tr.No.07801 Nizamabad-Basar Special train will depart Nizamabad at 10:35 hrs from 13th to 26th July, 2015 and arrive Basar at 11:30 hrs on the same day. In the return direction, Tr.No.07802 Basar –Nizamabad Special train will depart Basar at 13:15 hrs from 13th to 26th July, 2015 and arrive Nizamabad at 14:00 hrs on the same day.

Questions over fire safety in Mumbai skyscrapers

Last week’s fire in a highrise in the Lotus commercial compound in suburban Mumbai brought to light serious lacunae in the fire department. However, residents of highrises are doing very little to prevent catastrophes in their buildings.

According to the municipal corporation, as many as 95 per cent of buildings in the city have not undergone safety audits as mandated under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Rules, 2009, since they came into existence. This year, only three highrises have submitted their safety audit reports to the fire department.
